Campaign Forming Separate 501c3,
Names Founding Board Members
The
Friends of Del Mar Parks became a certified 501c3 tax exempt, non-profit California corporation on August 20. To date, The Winston School has
been the fiscal agent for the Campaign under its 501c3 designation.
Since the City now owns the Shores property, and The Winston School is
signing a 55-year lease with the City, separating the Campaign will
make fundraising efforts clearer and eliminate any possibility of
conflict of interest between The Winston School and City. Contributions can now be made payable to Friends of Del Mar Parks.
